UNITED NATIONS COMMISSION FOR INTERNATIONAL TRADE LAW(UNCITRAL)
On 3 November 2009, the UN General Assembly elected the Philippines as member of UNCITRAL for a six-year term beginning 2010. The Philippine Mission in Vienna recommended submission of its nomination to allow the Philippines to contribute to the global efforts to progressively harmonize and unify international trade law.
