The Philippine Embassy, through the Consular Section, performs authentication/legalization functions in the context of the 1963 Vienna Convention on Consular Relations.
1. Authentication of FOREIGN DOCUMENTS for use in the

BEGLAUBIGUNG UND LEGALISIERUNG
Die Konsularabteilung der philippinischen Botschaft führt die Beglaubigungs- & Legalisierungs- Funktionen im Rahmen des 1983 Wiener Übereinkommens über konsularische Beziehungen.
1. Beglaubigung von AUSLÄNDISCHEN DOKUMENTEN für die Verwendung auf den Philippinen
Schritt 1: Der Antragsteller muss das Dokument zunächst von einem beeidigtem Übersetzer auf Englisch übersetzen lassen;
Schritt 2: Das Dokument wird dann durch das Außenministerium des Landes in dem das Dokument ausgestellt wurde (z.B. Österreich, Kroatien, Slowakei, Slowenien), beglaubigt;
Schritt 3: Alle Dokumente – Fotokopie und Original – müssen zum Beglaubigen, bei der philippinischen Botschaft in Wien eingereicht werden.
Schritt 4: Die philippinische Botschaft in Wien beglaubigt die Unterschrift/das Siegel eines Unterschriftsberechtigten des Außenministeriums, der das Dokument im Herkunftsland beglaubigt hat.
Schritt 5: Beglaubigungsgebühr je Dokument: 25,00 EUR
Hinweis an die Antragsteller:
Die Bearbeitung von Dokumenten wird nicht von der philippinischen Botschaft in Wien durchgeführt wenn:
a. das Dokument die Unterschrift des Unterschriftsberechtigten des Außenministeriums im Herkunftsland nicht trägt; und b. das Dokument das Siegel des entsprechenden Außenministeriums nicht trägt.

HINWEIS: Nicht zutreffend für Urkunden mit einer Zwischenbeglaubigung der österreichische Botschaft in Manila, Philippinen.
